Enactus (until 2012 — SIFE, "Students in free enterprise") is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the development of youth entrepreneurship. The purpose of the organization is to develop business projects to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.
Since 1995, students from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have been participating in the project. There is a National Enactus organization in Central Asia, within which competitions are held.
Enactus is an international non-profit organization that unites active students, academic and business leaders. Together, they come together to improve the quality and standard of living of people who need an entrepreneurial approach. With the support of a teacher and a business leader, Enactus students create and implement projects around the world. The experience gained during the implementation of projects will not only change lives, but also help students become real leaders.
Enactus Kazakhstan helps students create teams at universities in the country. The Enactus National Office coordinates the project activities of the teams. Enactus students implement socio-economic projects that can improve people's lives. Enactus partners-teachers and businessmen-guide students and become team mentors. Students present their projects at the annual competitions. The best team has the right to participate in the World Cup.
