Methodist - (from Greek. Methodos - following something), a teacher who studies, develops teaching methods, and is responsible for their qualitative implementation. The methodologist plans the work of the teaching staff, coordinates its activities, is engaged in teacher training, organizes seminars, conferences, training courses, etc.
Functional responsibilities:
- Methodologist-organizer – organizes various methodological events: pedagogical readings, scientific and methodological conferences and seminars, exhibitions, competitions, creates banks of advanced pedagogical experience, etc.
- The methodologist-informant provides the teaching staff of the college with normative and instructional documentation, methodological literature, provides materials from the library of periodicals, analyzing them, systematizing them, which requires not only the basics of regulatory support, but also knowledge of the general didactic principles of building the educational process.
- Methodologist-analyst, consultant analyzes and diagnoses the methodological activities of teachers, the results of monitoring training.
- The methodologist-technologist reflects, i.e. determines the norm of pedagogical activity and technologically forms it in the form of pedagogical experience, which makes it technologically suitable for translation.
- A methodologist-researcher develops programs for innovation management, innovation implementation.
- Methodologist-analyst, consultant analyzes and diagnoses the methodological activities of teachers, the results of monitoring training.
